Hours: 18.00 to 22.00 hours / week typically

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, clean kitchen and work areas

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.):
Food Safety Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, Safe Food Handling certificate

Kitchen Skills:
Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas, Remove kitchen garbage and trash, Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit, Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, Handle and store cleaning products, Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment

Food Preparer Skills:
Stock refrigerators and salad bars, Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs, Portion and wrap foods

Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience:
Experience an asset, 2-3 Years preferred
